In 2008, MDC completed 20 units of MSHDA funded, low income tax credit housing at Warren Avenue and McKinley in Detroit, Michigan. The projects consists of four (4) buildings. Two (2) structures contain eight units each and two (2) structures contain two (2) units each. There are a total of 20 units (8 with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and 12 with two bedrooms and 1 and1/2 baths); each with a one-car garage and off street parking. All units are carpeted, internet ready and are wired for security. Additionally each unit has a loft with a skylight, central air conditioning, frost-free refrigerator, electric stove with self cleaning oven & range hood, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and washer and dryer hook-ups.
Manna Development Corporation is in the process of building the Eugene Hogan Housing Estates, Phase II, McKinley Manor which consist of 2 four unit apartment buildings, and McKinley Gardens; a housing project that will provide 40 affordable dwellings. Additionally, MDC has a venture with Dr. Emmett Ashely of Danville, Georgia and Natures Place, consisting of over 180 acres and is also in the pre-development phase. We are currently working on a project Mississippi as well.
